Desde su liberación, Humboldt GeoPISTA viewer, sigue creciendo, mostrando sus capacidades y demostrando lo que se puede hacer con un poco de imaginación y esfuerzo.

Como ya anunciabamos, Humboldt, es capaz de cargar cualquier capa WMS de servidores que cumplan el estandar OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium), y como podéis ver en la foto, los servidores de ortofotos, no iban a ser menos.

Humboldt GeoPISTA Viewer-0.1 liberado!

Finalmente y gracias a un gran esfuerzo, ¡ha sido liberada la versión 0.1 de Humboldt GeoPISTA Viewer!

Humboldt GeoPISTA Viewer, es una versión de Humboldt WMS Viewer para visualizar la cartografia y datos geoespaciales alojados en servidores GeoPISTA, ofreciendo una forma sencilla de crear un callejero/Guia Urbana para los municipios usuarios de GeoPISTA.

Caracteristicas:
- Cliente ligero web programado en AJAX.
- Busqueda Geocodificada (Calles+numero, POIs).
- Visualización de Puntos de Interés.
- Fácil adaptación a la imagen corporativa del municipio.

Humboldt GeoPISTA Viewer's Demo published, an street map viewer that uses geodata from Diputacion de Almeria's GeoPISTA server and Instituto Geografico Nacional's IDEE (Spanish Spatial Data Infraestructure).

Yeah, as I said on a post before, I have some real stuff... so... you all could find a working demo of Humboldt at Demo page.

Still left a lot of working to do as showing selectable layers, mapping layers in a non-destructive way, reading WMSs capabilities directly (proxy seems not to work properly) and as you could find right now I'm doing thru storing it on his xml form at server and loading it by hand and mapping all layers at once destroying prior layers loaded.

There's some WMSs you could view thru this method, try them!

I'm introducing you the brand new website for Humboldt WMS Viewer, I'm doing a lot of things about Humboldt designing and I'm hoping to have some real stuff for the end of the week...
